I joined The Intersection. Now what?

Thank you for joining The Intersection, and welcome! Now that you're here, let's talk about some of the things you can do.

1. If you haven't already done so, completely fill out your profile and upload a profile photo. This will appear alongside your activity on the site.

2. Customize your MyPage. Ning allows you to change your page design background, colors, and layout. You can also include photos, videos, music, links, and import your offsite blog. There are a number of third party applications you can embed into your page. For examples of customized pages, click here and here.

3. Check out our Members listings. See who you know. Introduce yourself to those with similar interests, and leave comments for others. Get to know people.

4. Check out the Photos and Videos. See what others have uploaded, and upload your own.

5. Join a discussion in the Forum, or start your own discussion.

6. Peruse the Events. If you have something you'd like to promote, you can add an Event.

7. Check out the Groups. If any of them interest you, you can join. If you don't see the group you're looking for, start one!

8. Read through the recent Blog entries. Post your comments, or post a blog of your own.

9. Invite others to join The Intersection. More members = more conversations and activity.

10. If you have an external blog or website, help to promote The Intersection by embedding a Badge on your site, or linking to The Intersection.
