Born in early 1965, I am the oldest end of GenX. I have a need for truth telling, I am skeptical of institutions that are not self-reflective, and expect public leaders to do whatever it takes to retain power rather than work for the common good. I think Xers are adaptable to leadership requiring collaboration or individual decision making.

If you grew up in the 70s, 80s or even a bit in the 90s you are a Gen-Xer! Usually defined as someone born between 1961 and 1980. Welcome Xers!

Being an X'er I'm not much of a "joiner", but it also makes me do stuff that others don't expect me to do, so I joined. What a catch 22 conundrum!

Sure! Perhaps the description can be reworded a bit...

Oops! I was born in the late 60s, but I think I'm on the early end of GenX. Can I be in the group?
